ACDA solicits developers for the redevelopment of 8th & K Street
Anchorage, AK – November 1, 2018
The Anchorage Community Development Authority (ACDA) is conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to solicit developer interest in transforming the vacant property located at the northeast corner of the block bounded by 8th Avenue and 9th Avenue and K Street and L Street, referred to as the “8th and K Property.”
The intent of this RFP is to redevelop the 8th and K Property into housing and mixed use consistent with the goals of relevant community plans. All submittals are required to include housing in the proposal. Through this RFP process, ACDA encourages creativity in how respondents propose ways to expand the types of housing products available in downtown Anchorage.
The request for proposal is available via Bidsync. Documents can be found under the title: “RFP 2018-02 Redevelopment of Property Commonly Known as 8th and K, Anchorage, Alaska.” No deposit or fee is required to obtain proposal documents and registration is required to log on to the Bidsync website.
Proposals are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 25, 2019. ACDA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any defects when, in the opinion of ACDA, such rejection or waiver will be in the best interest of ACDA.
