The Municipality of Anchorage is converting 10th Avenue into a Bicycle Boulevard to allow bicycles, pedestrians and vehicles to travel more safely. To make the Bicycle Boulevard possible, MOA will be converting the traditional parking spaces to “back-in angle parking only.”
Construction will begin as early as the week of August 29, 2016. It is expected that the construction project will take 1-2 weeks to complete.
During this time, all monthly Parkstrip permit parkers will be able to park at any on-street meter. Be sure to display your monthly parking permit to avoid a parking violation.
For assistance with parking or if you have questions, please call 276-7275.
Parking updates will be provided as the details of the project are finalized with MOA. Be on the lookout for traffic signs that indicate closure in the next week.
